Air

Bokura Ga Ita
The anime basically follows through the plot line of the manga until Yano and his mom move, leaving Nanami behind. The story continues with a few months having passed, and Nanami has not heard from Yano since that day they parted at the train station. Though deep in her heart she still loves Yano, she outerwardly gives him up and begins dating Takeuchi who has been along her side since. Yano on the other hand turns out to have had trouble after moving. The reason he had stopped contacting Nanami after the day at the train station was because his mother was having health problems and he was not in any state to bother with a long distance relationship. He also met another girl, someone who has been with him since his mother began having the health problems.

Chobits
The story centers on the life of Hideki Motosuwa, a repeat student (浪人, Rōnin?) attempting to qualify for university by studying at the Seki prep school in Tokyo. Besides a girlfriend, the other thing he dreams of having is a Persocom. A Persocom is an android used as a personal computer; however, they are expensive, and Hideki has no money.
On his way home one evening, he stumbles across a Persocom in the form of a beautiful girl with long blonde hair lying against a pile of trash bags. He first thinks this to be a murder but, realizing she was a Persocom, he carries her home. Upon turning it on, she instantly regards Hideki with adoration. The only word she seems capable of saying is "chi", and thus he names her Chi. Although Chi does not appear to have any programs installed in her, Hideki's friends surmise that she must have some sort of learning program installed, judging from her behaviour.
A major part of the plot involves Hideki attempting to teach Chi words, concepts, and appropriate behaviours, in between cram school and work. At the same time, Chi seems to be developing feelings for Hideki, at an emotional depth, which Persocoms are not supposed to possess, and Hideki struggles with his feelings for her. The series explores the nature of Persocoms, human interactions with them, and the nature of love. All sorts of characters and their Persocoms are introduced, some of them loving Persocoms, and some of them considering them only as tools, and some of them hating them altogether.
In the later part of the story, the characters start to explore Chi's mysterious past. Chi discovers a series of picture books of mysterious origin, that seem to awaken something deep inside of her. The book inspires her to find the "person just for me", a euphemism used in the series to refer to one's true love. Chi is also a very special Persocom, and towards the end of the story, together with Hideki, discovers her true identity, as well as what lies within her

Elfen Lied
The story begins with a young girl named Lucy escaping under odd circumstances from an insular research facility off the coast of Kamakura in the Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan. Lucy manages to nonchalantly dismember and slay a fair number of the staff and guards with a form of seemingly supernatural power and gets outside. A sniper is seen trying to shoot her, only managing to ricochet a bullet off her metal helmet. Lucy then falls off a cliff into the sea, bleeding from her head but ultimately surviving and evading the research staff.
Lucy is not a normal human but rather a diclonius: a mutant variant of humans with two small horns on their heads (hence the name diclonius) that resemble cat ears. The diclonius race possesses telekinetic powers through use of their "vectors", long arms that resonate at a speed that causes them to be undetectable by sight. The number and reach of the vectors depend on the diclonius.
The day after Lucy's escape, a boy named Kohta arrives at Kamakura to meet his cousin Yuka. Kohta has come to study at the local university and has been given lodging at an old, family-owned inn, the "Maple (楓, Kaede?) Inn", provided he acts as the caretaker. After meeting with Yuka, they go for a visit to the beach and find Lucy washed up on the shore, still naked and bleeding from her head. The head trauma Lucy experienced causes her to develop a split personality. In stark contrast to the cold and sadistic Lucy, this personality is completely docile, harmless and is incapable at first of saying anything other than "Nyū". Not knowing what to do with her, Kohta and Yuka take her back to the inn to look after her and name her "Nyū". Yuka quickly decides that it will be best that she also live at the inn.
Kohta, Nyū, and Yuka begin settling into their life at the inn and Nyū begins to dredge up painful repressed memories from Kohta's past. Meanwhile, the researchers from the laboratory where Lucy was held begin searching for her, dispatching both human and diclonius agents to hunt her down.

Full Metal Panic
Full Metal Panic! (フルメタル・パニック!, Furumetaru Panikku!?, often abbreviated to FMP!) is a science fiction light novel series written by Shouji Gatou. The novels contain both mecha action and comedy segments. It is known outside of Japan primarily by its anime and manga adaptations. This article discusses the larger Full Metal Panic! series of novels as well as the first animated adaptation.
This story has been animated in several separate occasions, following the plot of the novels in measured segments. The story is known for its mixture of its school segments focusing upon comedy and visual gags, and its longer and more serious plot arcs.
Both the novel and adaptations contain pop culture references, in-jokes, and oblique humor that is not readily obvious in its original language of Japanese. These conține Monty Python, Limericks, and Puns in English. Additionally, certain character names and lines spoken are reminiscent of other famous anime series. Most recently, Full Metal Panic! has been referenced in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star. Shouji Gatou contributed as a screenwriter for one episode in both of these series and an interview in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Official Fan Book.

Gift Eternal Rainbow
Gift is a story that revolves around high school student Haruhiko Amami and his strong connection to Gift's mysterious power. The town of Narasakicho, where Gift's story takes place, has two distinguishing characteristics: a rainbow that seems permanently fixed in the sky no matter the weather, and an ability known as Gift possessed by all its inhabitants. Gift's power can only be evoked by each person once in a lifetime, and is able to grant a single miracle. To be successful, a Gift must reflect the shared feelings of both the giver and the receiver. If the feelings are not mutual, the Gift is distorted and has the ability to wreak havoc on the surrounding area. When this happens, a black streak appears in the rainbow above town until Gift is used correctly.
The story begins as Haruhiko's younger sister, Riko Fukimine, returns home after several years away. Beginning with her appearance, Haruhiko's life starts to change very quickly and feelings of the past begin to surface once more.

The story begins in Feudal Japan with InuYasha, a hanyo stealing the Shikon no Tama, a jewel that can increase anyone's powers enormously, from a village. He does not get far before Kikyo, the young miko of the village, shoots InuYasha with a sacred arrow, sealing him forever to Goshinboku, a tree in the nearby forest. Mortally wounded, Kikyo tells her younger sister, Kaede, to burn the jewel with her body to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
In modern Tokyo, a junior high-school girl named Kagome Higurashi is on her way to school. She stops in the well house of her family's Shinto shrine to retrieve her cat, Buyo, when a centipede demon bursts forth and pulls her into the Sengoku period of Japan.
Not knowing where she is, Kagome wanders around a forest near the well. She spots Goshinboku off in the distance and proceeds towards it. When she reaches the tree, she finds InuYasha, who is still sealed with an arrow to the tree, asleep. Villagers seize her and take her to the old miko, Kaede. Recognizing that Kagome is the re-incarnation of her sister Kikyo, Kaede tells the story of Kikyo and InuYasha.
The centipede attacks again, and Kagome is forced to release InuYasha to kill it. After defeating the centipede, in order to prevent InuYasha from taking the Jewel of Four Souls, Kaede casts magical prayer beads around InuYasha's neck so Kagome can subdue him.
Then the jewel attracts more demons. In a battle against a carrion crow demon, the jewel is shattered into numerous shards.
Kagome and InuYasha set out to collect the shards and restore the Jewel of Four Souls. Along the way they befriend Shippo, a fox demon, Miroku, a cursed monk, and Sango, a demon-slayer whose brother was tricked into slaughtering the rest of their village. The group often encounters: InuYasha's older half-brother, Sesshomaru; Naraku who tricked Kikyo and InuYasha into turning against each other; Kikyo who was brought back from the grave with part of Kagome's soul; and a wolf demon, Koga, who is in love with Kagome and wants to make her "his woman".

Jigoku Shoujo
[/
Each short story of which the series consists describes the suffering of a different individual caused by one or more antagonists. A website known as Jigoku Tsūshin (Hell Correspondence) may only be accessed at midnight by one who harbors a desire for revenge against their tormenter. Should someone submit the name of one they hate, the Jigoku Shōjo (Hell Girl) will offer them a black straw doll with a red string wound about its neck. If the string is pulled, she will ferry the recipient of the revenge straightaway to Hell, but on the condition that those who request her intervention fall into Hell as well at the end of their natural lives.
During each story, the protagonists' dramas are explained in detail from the start of their grudges, through the escalation of their torment until it becomes unbearable and they resort to the "Jigoku Tsūshin" (correspondence with Hell) - a mysterious black-colored website only accessible at midnight. The contents of the site are only a text: "あなたの怨み、晴らします。 (We will take revenge on your behalf.)", a text box where the grudge's object must be written, and a "送信 (Send)" button. Some time after the post, they are visited by Enma Ai, a young red-eyed girl wearing a traditional sailor school uniform. She delivers them a black straw doll (In the second season, the doll may also be red or dark blue, depending on who turns into it) with a red string tied to its neck, and she tells them that if they want their vengeance to be delivered, they must remove the string from the doll, and their enemies will be immediately taken to Hell. However, a crest-shaped mark will appear on the protagonists' chests, always reminding them that after their lives come to an end, they must give compensation by having their own souls also sent to Hell.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (魔法少女リリカルなのは, Mahō Shōjo Ririkaru Nanoha?) is a thirteen episode anime directed by Akiyuki Shinbo that aired between October and December of 2004.
The series is a spin-off of the Triangle Heart series of games and OVAs. Nanoha, the magical girl and younger sister of Kyōya and Miyuki, takes precedence here while her sword-wielding siblings are reduced to minor characters. Nanoha is also clearly set in an alternate universe; the late Shirō Fuwa was always named Takamachi and survived his originally fatal injury, new characters such as Fate Testarossa are added, and others, such as Fiasse Crystela, are removed.
A sequel, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, aired between October and December of 2005. A third series, titled Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS began airing on April 1, 2007. There have also been corresponding manga series bridging the story and adding new elements to it, as well as CD dramas.
It was announced at AnimeExpo 2007 that Lyrical Nanoha and its sequel, Lyrical Nanoha A's, have been licensed by Geneon for English language distribution;[1] however, Geneon has since ceased distribution of DVDs in North America, and an English language release seems uncertain.[2]
